Our Commitment to Safety
Calliverse is a platform for users aged 13 and older. Our foremost priority is to maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all members of our community, especially our younger users. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any activity that endangers or exploits children and have implemented special protections for teen accounts.
1. Age Requirement (13+)
As stated in our Terms of Service, users must be at least 13 years old to create a Calliverse account. We have measures in place to prevent individuals under 13 from signing up. Any account found to be operated by an individual under the age of 13 will be terminated immediately.
2. Protections for Teen Users (Ages 13-17)
We recognize our responsibility to protect the well-being of our teen users. We have implemented the following safeguards by default for accounts of users between the ages of 13 and 17:
- Default Private Accounts: Accounts for users under 18 are set to private by default, meaning they must approve followers.
- Contact Restrictions: We limit who can interact with teen accounts to prevent unwanted contact from adults they do not know.
- Content Filtering: We use technology to limit the exposure of teen accounts to content that may not be age-appropriate.
3. Zero-Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Calliverse strictly prohibits the creation, distribution, or promotion of any content that depicts the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This is a non-negotiable standard.
- Proactive Detection: We utilize industry-leading automated scanning technologies to proactively detect and flag potential CSAM.
- Human Review: Our trained safety team reviews all flagged content to confirm violations.
- Immediate Action: Any confirmed CSAM is immediately removed, the responsible account is permanently banned, and the incident is reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), in accordance with the law.
4. Prohibition of Harmful Interactions
We are committed to preventing our platform from being used for harmful interactions involving minors. Our policies strictly forbid:
- Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Solicitation: Any attempt to solicit content from or engage in inappropriate conversations with minors.
- Endangerment & Bullying: Any content or behavior that encourages physical or emotional harm to children, including bullying and harassment.
Accounts found to be engaging in such activities will be permanently terminated and reported to law enforcement.
5. Empowering Our Users with Safety Tools
We provide all users with tools to control their experience and report concerns:
- Block: Users can immediately block any other user to prevent them from making contact or viewing their profile.
- Report: Easy-to-use reporting tools are available on all profiles and content, allowing users to flag violations of our policies. Our safety team reviews these reports 24/7.
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement and Safety Organizations
Calliverse is committed to working collaboratively with law enforcement agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other industry partners to combat child exploitation. We will respond to valid legal requests and share information as required by law to assist in investigations and protect vulnerable individuals.
How to Report a Safety Concern
If you encounter any content or behavior on Calliverse that you believe violates our Child Safety Standards or endangers a child, please report it immediately.
- In-App Reporting: Use the "Report" feature located on user profiles and individual pieces of content. This is the fastest way to bring a concern to our attention.
